Need A Licence has been approved by the Queensland Government to deliver Boatsafe, RMDL (Boat) and PWCL (Jet Ski) licence training and assessment.
The process is:
Complete the online study to ensure that you have the required minimum level of knowledge to pass the Queensland Government multiple choice theory assessment . You are allowed 2 attempts to score 100% in the theory test.
Practical Assessment - Recreational Marine Driver Licence). You have only 1 attempt per day at an unassisted competency based practical assessment
3. If you are new to boating or jet-skiing

If you are new to boating or jet-skiing or just need some extra practice, then it would be advisable to obtain some extra training from a friend or book a lesson with us beforehand.
A lesson on the water in our boat with our trainer will cost you $100 per hour with up to 4 other people.
A lesson on the water on our Jetski and trainer will cost you $180 per hour for 1 on 1 tuition.
4. Once you have achieved the required level of competency and have been issued with your Statement of Competency you must present this to any Queensland Transport and Main Roads Office and pay the prescribed fee. This is then added to your Customer Reference Number (CRN) on your drivers licence and is a perpetual licence.
